“I never saw myself as a business owner, I still don’t. I’d worked in the medical field for years but had taken a break and I was working part time at the wellness center. I’ve always loved herbs. The owner at the time asked me several times about purchasing the business. I didn’t want to and told her no. However, months later I prayed seriously about it and went forward with it.”
That leap of faith — trusting obedience over fear — became the cornerstone of what the Pace Wellness Center is today: a Christian-owned herbal store devoted to holistic wellness, authentic healing, and God’s glory.
🌿 We asked Joanna, “What Is Your Passion and Your Why?”
“I wanted to keep the store going for the community because it is so important to not only our loyal customers, but to fight for a small business storefront even during challenging and fast-changing times for retail with everything going online.
Our community should have our shop!! A local place to go where you can see an herbalist for a consultation, purchase organic herbs and high quality supplements, and get a massage 😉
Another why is – to be a light for Jesus in a field that is saturated with deception and views that are contrary to scripture regarding healing.
We do not need energy healers, or any other spiritual force. We need our Creator, the God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is all we need, and He created herbs for medicine. He deserves the glory for Who He is, and for what He created to heal us.”
