Pensacola X: Art, tell us—how did you get started in the fashion industry?

Art Gallegos Jr.: My journey into fashion began about five years ago when I was introduced to Shirley Fraser, the owner of Bravura Fashion in Alpharetta, Georgia. From the moment we connected, it was clear that we had a shared vision. We started organizing photoshoots featuring local women in Georgia, with a special focus on Latina women. That collaboration grew, leading us to produce four runway fashion shows—and now, we’re gearing up for our fifth in April 2025. It’s been an incredible ride, and each event has allowed us to celebrate diversity, beauty, and empowerment in new ways.

A Passion for Empowerment

Pensacola X: What is your ultimate passion and dream?

Art Gallegos Jr.: My passion is people—helping them grow, inspiring them to step into their full potential, and empowering them to embrace their inner and outer beauty. While I love art, music, fashion, and beauty, my heart is truly in serving my community. Being a Creative Director has allowed me to bring my artistic vision to life, but it’s also given me a platform to uplift others. Whether it’s through fashion, mentorship, or creative expression, my dream is to continue fostering a space where people feel seen, valued, and inspired to chase their own dreams.

Words of Wisdom for Dreamers

Pensacola X: What advice would you give to someone who is pursuing their dreams?

Art Gallegos Jr.: First and foremost—trust in God. Every journey has its ups and downs, but growth comes from perseverance. Trust the process. Even when things don’t happen as quickly as you’d like, don’t stop, don’t give up, and don’t give in. The place you are standing right now is not your final destination—there is always room for more, always space for new opportunities. Keep your dreams alive and hold onto your passion until the very end.

Pensacola X: When is your next fashion show, and what does it represent?

Art Gallegos Jr.: Our next event is the Level Up Enterprise Fashion Runway Show, happening in late April 2025. This isn’t just another runway show—it’s a celebration of women from all walks of life. We’re bringing together an incredibly diverse group of women—of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels—to showcase the power of confidence, elegance, and individuality.

This show isn’t about exclusivity; it’s about inclusivity, highlighting beauty in every form. The gowns, the energy, the artistry—it’s all about elevating women and reminding them that beauty isn’t just what you wear; it’s what you carry within.
